2. Product introduction

● Precipitated barium sulfate M series of Hongzhi New Materials is produced by the original "barium carbonate-sulfuric acid”reaction way, which has advantages of high purity, good whiteness and concentrated particle size distribution.

In a test based on PU paint and stoving varnish systems, M series precipitated barium sulfate when acting as a pigment extender or pigment co-dispersant, test as below:

Dispersed in hydroxyl acrylic resin, dispersant to powder 3%, pure titanium dioxide in the color paste concentration of 60%, barium sulfate instead of titanium dioxide 5.6%, additional 5.6%.

The test results show that the overall performance of M-700A is significantly better than that of the German Blanc Fixe Micro.

Among them, the influence on the glossiness and the resistance to boiling property is: M-700A > M-701A> German Blanc Fixe Micro.

Precipitated barium sulfate M series, due to its excellent light retention and mechanical properties, is used in automotive paint filler systems.

At the same time, it is applied in high-solid coatings in order to replace some pigments and greatly reduce volatile substances (VOCs).

Moreover, the color paste modified by M series still has extremely high gloss and rheological properties even at higher concentrations.

Due to its excellent weather resistance, it is particularly suitable for high light powder coating.

In addition to being used in paints and inks, M series products can be widely used in thermoplastics and thermosetting plastics to improve mechanical properties, enhance impact strength and adjust color and gloss because of the characteristics of vivid color, perfect tone and full surface gloss when combined with pigments.

In addition, it is particularly suitable for use as an inflator of elastomers, which will not affect storage stability and aging resis.
